In 2023, the International Youth Rhythmic Music Festival Visioon will be held on 8-10 June, and already for the 21st time and in two cities!
The Festival Visioon is a view of the future of Estonian youth rhythm music. The rhythm music played by young people is interesting, varied, and versatile! Young people could develop and change a lot in one year. Therefore, it is important to organize the festival consistently, every year. The goal of the Festival Visioon is to introduce to the audience young talented jazz musicians, new bands, and different styles. Come together and listen to youngsters' favorite songs that have started to tune in the best during the school year.

Together with the juniors, their tutors and well-known soloists also take the stage. Performing on the same stage with professionals is a great motivator to move forward.

Concerts of youth bands take place in the club Philly Joe's in Tallinn and on the square in the center of Saue city, on the open-air stage. Professional bands will perform in Philly Joe's Club in 2023. On June 8 at 21:00, the Estonian-Finnish musicians' project Coon and Friends will perform, and on June 9 at 21:00, the joint Latvian-Estonian group Artis Boris Trio will perform. The bands have been assembled for the Festival Visioon to encourage adolescent musicians and jam together with good friends. Many Estonian jazz musicians have started their careers at Festival Visioon, having taken their first steps here. On June 10, the Saue Youth Day will be held in the square of the city center of Saue, where everyone interested can take part in the rhythm music workshop of drummer Don Ulvik!

The festival is organized by the NGO Improviis in cooperation with the Saue Music School and the rhythm music departments of MUBA.
